Best Golf Driver Top Ten List for 2010
The best golf driver can be hard to find as you sort through all of the products on the market and the confusing information. We’ve done all the legwork and research for you here.
After extensive research on all of the major brands of golf drivers currently on the market, we have compiled our list of the best golf drivers for 2010. We based our rankings on a number of factors such as the different types of unique technologies built into the design of each driver, the driver’s performance based on independent testing, player reviews and overall satisfaction, and which clubs are the most popular. We also looked at what the Tour Professionals are hitting.
We based driver popularity on which drivers consistently receive high ratings from a variety of review sites and retail stores, as well as which drivers have the highest numbers of sales.
Some additional criteria used in our evaluations include appearance of the driver, in other words, “Does it look cool?” We also looked at the average number of fairways hit, and the average distance from performance tests from independent testing organizations, as well as positive reviews from magazines and golf journals. Finally we looked at price, trying to find the best bargains out there, including the resale market for used clubs.
Each player is different so we encourage you to read our Buyer’s Guide to see how to customize clubs specifically for your game taking into account height and hand size as well as swing speed.
Overall, we think you’ll find this list very helpful as you look for the best golf driver and especially when you start busting them long and straight from the tee.

I totally agree with your rating on the Diablo edge driver above, your readers should be clicking on buy above right now! Recently I took out the Callaway diablo for a test as I’m a online product reviewer for sporting goods and I gave the club 4.5 out of 5 – ok so nothing is perfect
But the one thing I noticed when I used it was the great feel and awesome sweet spot (i think its more like a hot spot) it has over other drivers – amazing the distances i was getting (even on the worst of miss hits) , Callway have really excelled themselves this time and every golfer’s confidence will sky-rocket with this club. Worth the money.
