In my humble opinion, the R9 is my favorite. Strong and light but very accurate

I totally agree with your rating on the Diablo edge driver above, your readers should be clicking on buy above right now! Recently I took out the Callaway diablo for a test as I'm a online product reviewer for sporting goods and I gave the club 4.5 out of 5 - ok so nothing is perfect :)

But the one thing I noticed when I used it was the great feel and awesome sweet spot (i think its more like a hot spot) it has over other drivers - amazing the distances i was getting (even on the worst of miss hits) , Callway have really excelled themselves this time and every golfer's confidence will sky-rocket with this club. Worth the money.

Good,comprehensive review.Thanks.
It is difficult to know how much to spend or whether to buy new or second hand but I think I know what way I want to go now for my new driver for 2011.

I am about a 20 handicap player. I purchased the R9 460CC 4 weeks ago. It is a fantastic club. I play it on the L setting - my driving has improved 300%. I first noticed this on the range, but on the course the same applies. I highly recommend this club.

Went to a popular golf retail store that had a computer swing diagnostic setup. I hit the same Pro V1 ball 20 times with my Cleveland 400. Then hit same ball 20 times with the Cobra ZL
the average swing gave me a 20 yard advantage over the Cleveland dirver. the best of the first twenty hits was 30 yards short of the best of the last 20 balls hit. By then I hit a few more balls with the Cleveland and performance only improved about 5 yards from my prior Cleveland set. What can I say? I bought one.

Happened to see the Geomax driver in our club pro shop and liked the look of the head and also the price.

Instantly thought that it was probably a cheap and nasty brand, as it didn't look as slick as the competition. eg. Callaway, Pings, etc.

I don't like the large 'bucket' driver heads and the Geomax drew my attention as it was a normal looking head size for once.

I took out the demo 10.5 regular shafted club and gave it a whirl.

I can say that I was pleasantly surprised. It was very easy to hit and does actually encourage straight hits, which is always a good thing! It does feel a bit shorter distance wise than my current driver, but the fact that I'm on the fairway and not miles away in the rough is such a bonus.

I haven't taken the plunge with it yet, but the signs are good and I would recommend that if you are looking for a smaller headed, straight driver, that you try it out.
