Our Review

A quick history lesson on the technology in this club – it all started in 2004 with the introduction of Movable Weight Technology in the first R7 TaylorMade driver. The MWT lets you move weight in the driver head (really cool) to adjust for trajectory changes and achieve greater distance and accuracy. Following the R7 was the R7 425, the R7 460, and the R7 SuperQuad, all of which have been extremely popular among both tour professionals and the average Joe. TaylorMade says that this newest R7, the Limited, can be adjusted to result in a change of up to 35 yards using only 3 weights weighing 16 grams, 1 gram, and 1 gram. That’s some amazing tech!
